Pentecostal Evangelist Has Divine Appointment With Gay Presidential Candidate

Joe Oden, evangelist in the Assemblies of God, was a student in the Brownsville Revival Bible school when Larry Tomczak began to mentor him. Recently, Oden sat next to Pete Buttigieg, a gay Democrat candidate for president in a same-sex marital relationship who has appeared on the cover of Time magazine.

Joe prayed for him and gave him his personal testimony tract, “From Dope to Hope.”

He’s involved with training people in lifestyle evangelism with Larry, challenging people to “redeem the time”—sharing the gospel as if each day was our last.
