Mike Lindell Asks ‘Church People’: Is The Gospel Enough?

Share:

You haven’t heard the last of MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, despite Big Tech’s attempt to silence the outspoken Christian. Lindell is the executive producer of Church People, a faith-based, satirical comedy releasing in select theaters March 13-15.

“This film is an honest and humorous reminder that the gospel is enough, and we all need Jesus,” Lindell says. The comedy addresses issues that plague many churches across America today, such as abandoning the simplicity of the gospel for the sake of trendy sales gimmicks and current marketing techniques.

And while taking a lighthearted knock at what we may have missed as a church, the goal of the movie isn’t to cast stones. Lindell says its ultimate purpose is to spread the Good News.

“Until we admit that we’re imperfect, we run the risk of not reaching the lost,” he says. “The Lindell Recovery Network will bring people that are broken back to the church, and we, as the church, should understand that the gospel is enough.”

He hopes to encourage believers to grow in fellowship with one another. Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, Christians must continue to come together in community, serving one another in love.
