Is Billy Graham One of the 24 Elders in Revelation?

Share:

When John described his vision of heaven in Revelation, he saw elders openly worshipping the King on the throne.

He writes:

When the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and worship Him, who lives forever and ever. Then they cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You have created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created” (Rev. 4:9-11).

Though the 24 elders are not mentioned by name, end-times expert John Shorey and televangelist Jim Bakker say evangelist Billy Graham, who died earlier this year, may be included in the count.

“Instead of 12 and 12, what if the 24 elders are the greatest spiritual leaders of all time?” Shorey says.

Here’s why.
