44 More Retired Flag Officers Endorse Donald Trump
During his speech at Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., on Friday, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump announced he had growing support from the retired military flag officer community.
To back up those claims, his campaign released a list of 44 more retired generals and admirals who have endorsed his candidacy. This list—you can read the entire list by clicking here—has now grown to 164 former one-, two-, three-, and four-star generals and admirals.
“I am grateful for the growing support of highly respected retired generals and admirals who have been so successful in defending our country,” Trump said. “Working with our armed forces is the most important responsibility of the presidency.
“I thank each of these strong leaders for their dedicated service to our country and their confidence in me to serve as commander-in-chief. Our foreign policy must be guided by the principle of peace through strength, and to do this we must commit to strengthening our military so that it remains the finest fighting force on the planet.”
