What God Wants to Do With These 3 Prophetic Types of Kings in This Hour
I wrote an article, “Calling Out the Emerging Kings,” published on Elijah List, Oct. 19, 2018. Two days after that article came out, my husband, a brilliant attorney and a major “king” himself, died unexpectedly. I lost my best friend, my confidant, my adviser, my financial partner. In a moment, my world as I knew it disintegrated.
Shocking as it sounds, I could not allow this tragedy to be wasted without it being woven into God’s greater plan of redemption and victory. I knew I was onto something with my revelation about kings; I had to persist in declaring the call. Even more mind-blowing, God has been confirming the coronation of kingship in my own personal life. Since my husband’s passing, I have assumed massive, sole responsibility for the management of our family assets, overhauling our lives and portfolios. God’s inexplicable favor acted like a shield around me as I worked tirelessly with some top tax and legal advisers (kings of this world).
Previously, I had shared a vision of Jesus casting out crowns to countless souls who rejected them. These were leaders and rulers who would have otherwise extended God’s kingdom on earth by boldly executing heaven’s blueprints.
Today, Jesus is on a search and rescue mission, to find kings who are in distress, hidden, lost or drowning in life and to gather them back to Himself. Why? He wouldn’t hesitate to dash into abysmal darkness to rescue the one lost sheep. Similarly, He wouldn’t hesitate to visit intimately with unsavory kings like Zacchaeus to transform him.
Know Your DNA, Know Your Clan, Know Your Mission
DNA testing kits are ubiquitous today. Everyone wants to know about their physical ancestry, as in that available at ancestry.com. However, innumerable believers are obtuse about their own spiritual DNA.
Did you know that we are joined at the hip with Jesus? Due to sonship, we are wired genetically in our spirit to be identical with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:17 says, “But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him.”
Jesus has many titles, one of which is ruler over kings of the earth (Rev. 1:5). He is the true King, the King of kings (Rev. 19:16).
Not only do we possess His DNA, but we also have the DNA of kingship, since Jesus is the King of kings. Often we read this as meaning He rules over earthly kings and politicians. “Kings” actually refers to believers being His “mini-Me’s”; reproductions or offspring carrying His genetics. We are created to rise up, lead, rule and reign alongside Him in the earth (Rev. 5:10), in society. Ephesians 2:6 (GNT) declares, “In our union with Christ Jesus [God] raised us up with Him to rule with Him in the heavenly world.”
This clan of kings is like the missing tribe of Benjamin, nowhere to be found in the body of Christ. The enemy has obliterated believers of their identity as kings with carpet bombing of defeat, failure, lack and unworthiness. Other believers who have succeeded and prospered hide from the religious church’s scrutiny, obscuring their Christian identity in the workplace.
Once the clan is identified, legitimacy is then conferred by Christ Himself as the King of kings. The mission is as clear as ringing church bells. Habakkuk 2:1b commands us to write the vision and make it plain that he may run who reads it.
Genesis 1:26 mandates man to have dominion over all the earth, to be fruitful and multiply, to fill the earth and subdue it. There is no more satisfying alternative to God’s mission for man than to be fruitful and multiply, succeed and dominate in conformity with God’s methodology and objectives.
Characterization of Lost King Prototypes
Here are some prototypes of kings to facilitate the search and rescue mission:
Type A: Polymaths
Polymaths are specialists and generalists, thinking and operating at a micro- and macro-level, solving problems creatively, mastering technical and artistic fields with ease. For instance, my husband was not only a brilliant attorney but also a brilliant cook who created recipes on the fly. Polymaths are always hungry for new knowledge, continually questing in self-improvement. Some have multiple careers in a lifetime.
Polymaths are often mistakenly labeled as “jacks-of-all-trades,” but their true identity is that of renaissance man. Their ability to master different fields makes them great leaders. The heroine in the movie Divergent is the perfect illustration.
Type B: The Beast
There are those who are like the beast in the story of Beauty and the Beast. The beast had his “moat” of wealth, but was isolated and lonely. He needed to encounter unconditional acceptance and grace—not judgment or condemnation—before his true identity as a benevolent king could emerge. Others, like Zacchaeus, bound by greed and marginalized by his community, need to encounter the true King who embraced him unconditionally.
Type C: Rough Diamonds
Others are like raw, uncut diamonds, like Saul and David, trapped by carnality. They are not like priests or pastors; they fly off the handle, have road rage, might even curse. Similarly, when diamonds are mined, they can pass as crystal rock sugar, possessing little value. It’s only after a rigorous process of cutting, that their nature as diamonds surfaces. Most believers are in this category, requiring cutting and polishing to manifest the DNA of kings.
Innately, every king has an uncommon determination to fight, to conquer, to succeed and to dominate. Left to their own devices without God, they become narcissistic, causing collateral damage as they live selfishly and without purpose.
Proverbs 21:1 (MEV) states, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water; He turns it to any place He will.”
God’s vision needs to be birthed in the hearts of His kings so He can steer not only their hearts but also their steps. They will run with exceptional clarity of vision to implement His plans, to be fruitful and to dominate the earth as originally mandated before the fall.
