An Easter Letter to All My Muslim Friends And Other Religions of the World

When I began broadcasting the gospel to the Middle East region of the world (Arabic Version), sharp comments from Muslims poured in, some of which were so profane that I cannot even publish them. Here were some of the most typical brash comments:

  • God has no Son.
  • God wasn’t born (meaning if Jesus is God He couldn’t have been born).
  • God doesn’t need a wife or a son for He is alone.
  • Fraud, fraud. Jesus was not crucified.
  • Jesus never died.
  • Jesus was never raised.

It amazes me that these lies, specifically the one concerning the resurrection, have spread and been disseminated throughout the many centuries since Christ, yet they were predicted in the canon of Scripture.

“They told the soldiers, ‘You are to say, “His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we were sleeping.” If this comes to the governor’s ears, we will satisfy him and keep you secure.’ So they took the money and did as they were instructed. And this saying has been commonly reported among the Jews to this day (Matt. 28:13-15).

Both Judaism and Islam who claim Abraham as their father have swallowed this lie hook, line, and sinker. They deny the resurrection. No wonder this was the early apostles central message and theme.

Logic alone should win this argument. Millions of martyrs down through the centuries have been killed for believing in both the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Wouldn’t it have been much easier to deny it and spare their lives? It is more absurd to believe the lie than the truth.

There are billions of people in the world today and many in our own society that still doubt the resurrection of Jesus Christ ever took place, claiming that his followers stole the body or simply made up this fairy tale. Yet amazingly God knew this lie would spread and included it in the Scriptures.

Think about it. Would Stephen (Acts 7) and James (Acts 12:2) and the rest of the apostles who accepted martyrdom not have simply reneged if Christ’s resurrection was just a made-up lie and fabrication of the truth? And what about the account of the 500 people who witnessed Christ alive after the resurrection (1 Cor. 15:6)? What about Paul, who also saw Him alive (v.3-8)?

And finally, since the first century, how many have there been who have never seen Christ yet have believed and been killed for their faith? Millions. Why would these followers of Christ accept and subject themselves to the most horrific deaths if His crucifixion and resurrection was just one big fat lie? Who in their right mind would suffer stoning, beheading, dismemberment and crucifixion if the resurrection was only a fairy tale? C’mon, people.

Anyone who does not believe in the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ has been sold an awful bill of goods and simply been brainwashed by false prophets who came as angels of light (2 Cor. 11:14). Every false religion and cult has them. Satan originated this lie and multitudes today are still believing it.

The fact is that there is pretty convincing evidence that more people have been killed for their faith in Christ in the past century than any other time in history. Most of them could’ve recanted their faith, denied Christ, and their lives spared. But some things in life are more important than our own physical lives, and Jesus calls those who have not seen but yet believe, blessed indeed.

“Jesus said to him, ‘Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have yet believed'” (John 20:29).

Some might argue that radical Islamists lay down their physical lives too, as suicide bombers. One of the big differences is that while killing themselves, they also kill others. They are not martyrs. That alone should tell you who the source of their believing is. Satan is a liar and a murderer (John 8:44). Oh, how sad and grievous this is when Jesus has paid the price for all.

“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: how Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, was buried, rose again the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Cor. 15:3-4).

He is risen. Let’s keep telling the world. {eoa}
