Israeli Messianic Jews Partner With Energy Company to Aid Poor, Needy in Israel
Messianic Jews in Israel are partnering with Noble Energy to provide aid for the poor and needy throughout Israel, according to Israel Today.
Noble Energy is working together with Messianic Jews’ new program, Social Delivery Organization (SDO), through which Israeli businesses can donate excess inventory. SDO is part of the Joseph Project (JP), which is one of the largest charities in Israel and is run by the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America (MJAA). Since its founding, JP has donated around $100 million in aid to needy Israelis.
Noble Energy, based in Houston, Texas, leads the largest energy project in the history of Israel, according to the Jerusalem Post. Noble Energy’s revenue in 2018 reached $318 million, reports JP in a newsletter. The energy company recently donated office furniture and equipment to the Messianic humanitarian cause.
“Truly, the MJAA, the JP staff in Israel, as well as our Christian partners around the world are a clear demonstration of how Jew and Gentile can and are working together for the physical and spiritual restoration of Israel,” the MJAA writes on its website.
SDO posted a video on Facebook about the charitable partnership with Noble Energy. The video is in Hebrew, but it provides English subtitles. Watch it in this article!
