5 Myths About the Colorado Planned Parenthood Calamity

Share:

4. This maniac and other anti-abortionists are trying to stop Planned Parenthood’s mission of providing “reproductive health care” and services, such as mammograms, that promote the health of women and families.

First of all, Planned Parenthood does not provide mammograms. What they primarily provide is taking of the lives of over a third of a million unborn babies every year! This is their core business and they are very successful as evidenced by the stats and mega salaries of their top officials.

Second, undercover investigative videos caught Planned Parenthood officers discussing and joking over another area—financial aspects of harvesting baby body parts. Just as they distance themselves from their founder, Margaret Sanger, who was a racist and eugenicist, they do likewise by suggesting the videos were “heavily edited.”

Alliance Defending Freedom released a national survey showing how skillful Planned Parenthood is in projecting the image of a noble “health care provider.”

  • Sixty percent mistakenly believed they provide education for new and expectant parents.

  • Thirty-seven percent incorrectly thought they provide counseling for parents interested in adoption.

  • Only 36 percent were aware they perform abortions, yet it performs more abortions than any other organization in America.

They may say they want abortion to be “safe, legal and rare,” but if they are raking in $150 million yearly in revenue from abortions, why should they slay their cash cow?

5. Colorado proves that anti-abortionists and jihadists both represent dangerous terrorism from extremist minorities.

First of all, a Gallup Poll from six months ago made it clear: 55 percent of Americans want all or most abortions made illegal. Most of the past five years have shown Americans have been fairly evenly divided on this issue. So pro-life supporters are not a small minority!

Next, the attempt to portray pro-life protectors of unborn babies akin to radical Islamists is absurd. Concocting a narrative that there is a surge in violence and threats against abortion providers similar to global terrorism must be refuted.

Hillary Clinton recently said, “Islam is not our adversary. Muslims are peaceful and tolerant people and have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism.” Yet it is not a minuscule minority of Muslims who support jihad and global domination. Pew research revealed 22 percent of the Muslim population are in this camp—more than the entire population of the United States of America!

While some put forth that it’s only a wayward minority who believe the Quran’s emphasis on violence to achieve global domination, that group is growing rapidly and advancing Islam globally, with 32,658 deaths this year from Islamic terrorism—up 80 percent in one year.

How many adults have died in abortion clinic violence in 42 years? That total is 11.

As 150 world leaders, including our president, gather for the next two weeks in France for a summit on climate change, those who disagree are labeled “climate change deniers.” How about those in government refusing to identify or even name radical Islam? Aren’t they living in denial amid this civilizational struggle?

Abortion centers like the one in Colorado collectively account for about 897 innocent babies aborted daily. In 2016, Planned Parenthood will spend over $20 million to elect candidates supportive of their practices while collecting $500 million of our tax money unless we stop their funding.

Here’s the deal: Colorado was a nightmare, but so too is the fact that every child has the “right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” yet scores are subject to domestic terrorism every day. Through our prayers, voting and civic engagement may we refute the myths and make a stand for righteousness till this scourge is removed from our land in another spiritual awakening.

“Making an open stand against all the ungodliness and unrighteousness which overspread our land as a flood is one of the noblest ways of confessing Christ in the face of His enemies.”—John Wesley, leader in America’s First Great Awakening
