Rick Joyner Issues Urgent Warning for America After Brussels Attacks

As the world mourns the horrific attacks in Belgium, prophetic voice Rick Joyner issued an urgent warning for the globe, and the United States in particular.

“We can expect these attacks to increase, hitting cities in multiple places at once for maximum impact. The U.S. is the most prized of all targets for Islamic terrorists, and we have been made the most vulnerable by our own government policies that have failed to protect our borders. It is likely that we will soon be looking back and marveling at how naïve we have been to allow this, but until there is change we must all learn to be vigilant, becoming watchmen for our cities and communities,” Joyner posted to Facebook.

“We also must resist reacting in fear, knowing that there is no safer place than we could ever be than in the will of God. Knowing what to recognize as a threat is important, but far more important is keeping our eyes on the Lord, abiding in Him, and not letting anything steal the peace we have by abiding in the Prince of Peace. It is as we abide in His peace that we can more easily be directed by Him, and effectively pray for our communities, law enforcement, and our leaders,” Joyner concluded.

Joyner is far from the only Christian leader using social media to guide people to the Lord in a time of chaos.

Evangelist Franklin Graham called his fans to prayer over the attacks.

“Join me in praying for the victims and families of the Muslim terrorist attack in Belgium today. Islamists have told us we will see more of these attacks and we have to take their threats seriously,” Graham posted.

“I have long supported a temporary halt to immigration, especially for those coming from Muslim countries, until we have a vetting program that works and we can know who these people are. If we can’t get an accurate background check, they don’t come in. It’s as simple as that. What happened in Belgium, in Paris, and in New York on 9/11 will happen again inside our borders unless something changes because the current administration has lowered the standards and our President even refuses to acknowledge this as Islamic terrorism. Our country is in trouble─we have a void in leadership. Pray that God will give us a strong leader for this nation,” Graham wrote.

Rev. Samuel Rodriguez also released a statement about the tragedies.

“We pray for Brussels. The terrorist attack speaks to a world darkened by intolerance, bigotry and hatred. Jihadist terrorism exists for no other purpose than to rob us of peace, kill love, and destroy hope. For that matter, we must condemn this corrupt agenda, while supporting all efforts aimed at defeating this perverted ideology,” the president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference.

“May God’s peace comfort those that mourn and empower all of us to speak out against terrorism, hatred and intolerance. Let us pray and be vigilant.”
