Mark of the Beast? Man Implants ‘Money’ Chips Under Skin

Share:

Dutch entrepreneur Martijn Wismeijer had two wireless computer chips implanted in his body to keep his digital currency safe.

Wismeijer is an entrepreneur and founder of Mr. Bitcoin, a crypto-currency cash machine operation company.

The London Telegraph reports that he decided the chips aren’t secure enough yet to use permanently, explaining that the chips need to be encrypted so that information can’t be stolen from them.

Still, he said that ultimately the experiment was a success.

Wismeijer said the chips can be used not only for digital currency but as keys for your house, programming an alarm clock, or monitoring your health. He added they could even call a doctor if the user has a heart attack.

Wismeijer thinks people who use the chips are helping to make them socially acceptable.
