Drug Lord El Chapo Reading ‘Purpose Driven Life’ in Prison

Drug lord Joaquin Guzman, more commonly known as El Chapo, has been reading Rick Warren’s The Purpose Driven Life in prison, according to reports.
“The moment you were born into the world, God was there as an unseen witness, smiling at your birth. He wanted you alive, and your arrival gave him great pleasure. God did not need to create you, but he chose to create you for his own enjoyment,” Warren says.
Guzman is considered to be the world’s most powerful drug trafficker, according to Forbes.
He escaped a maximum security prison last year, but was recaptured in January.
