As Worldwide Persecution Mounts, We Must ‘Hold Persecutors Accountable’

Share:

“We want to hold the persecutors accountable; we want to create costs to them for doing what they’re doing.” So says Frank Gaffney, president and CEO of Save the Persecuted Christians, on a recent “Charisma Connection” podcast.

But Gaffney and his team won’t stop there. Save the Persecuted Christians is also asking for God’s grace to bring systemic change and alleviate the suffering endured by an increasing number of believers. He cites a recent Open Doors report that lists the number of persecuted Christians worldwide as 245 million, up 30 million from only a year ago.

But there is hope, Gaffney says, in part because “we have an administration that is committed powerfully at the highest levels to doing something about this problem.”

Listen to this compelling podcast, where Gaffney urges believers to “step up and do what we can” on behalf of persecuted believers worldwide.
