America Sides with Terrorists as Israeli National Security Minister Visits the Temple Mount

All it took was a change of administration for America to go from Israel’s staunchest ally, to siding with Hamas against it.

With the election of Israel’s new right-wing government being sworn in and Benjamin Netanyahu beginning his sixth term as Prime Minister, the two governments are miles apart on policy.

The years of support that America’s government showed Israel, and the recognizing of Jerusalem as her eternal capital, are over.

With American media, including publicly funded NPR, portraying this new government as right-wing extremists who are going to cause trouble, it is becoming more and more clear to those watching how Israel will stand alone in the days of Revelation.

Now, one of the most disparaged members of the new Israeli government by far-left media outlets, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, made a profound statement by standing up to terrorist threats and anti-Israel bureaucrats and visited the Temple Mount.

Before Ben-Gvir ever even took to the steps towards the holiest place in Judaism, Hamas began issuing threats towards him, and any Jews who would dare walk the site where their temple once stood.

“The extremist Ben-Gvir is trying to convince his voters that he is implementing his promises by breaking into Al-Aqsa (Mosque),” Hamas official Harun Nasser El-Din declared. “We hold the government of the occupation [Israel] responsible for any escalation if there is damage to Al-Aqsa or to our people who are clinging to Jerusalem. We call on our people to protect Al-Aqsa, and we are sure that our people will thwart all attempts to impose a new reality on Al-Aqsa.”

But it would finally seem that Israel has a leader within the new government who does not bow down to terrorist threats, and stands firm on the belief that Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount, are part of the Abrahamic Covenant.

“The Israeli government of which I am a member will not surrender to a vile murdering organization,” Ben-Gvir tweeted. “The Temple Mount is open to everyone and if Hamas thinks that if it threatens me it will deter me, let them understand that times have changed. There is a government in Jerusalem!”

On Tuesday, Ben-Gvir reiterated his belief that the Temple Mount is open for all, Jewish, Muslim and Christian to visit and pray at, and no threat will deter that.

“Our government will not surrender to the threats of Hamas,” Ben-Gvir said on Tuesday. “The Temple Mount is the most important place for the people of Israel, and we maintain the freedom of movement for Muslims and Christians, but Jews will also visit the site. Those who make threats must be dealt with an iron hand.”

On cue, condemnation from Islamic countries throughout the Middle East rang out.

The Palestinian Authority accused Ben-Gvir and his retinue of “storming the site,” when in reality they just walked around the Temple Mount site.

As reported by the Jerusalem Post, Palestinian Authority presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudaineh said, “The repeated Israeli threats to change the historical status quo in the Aqsa Mosque would have serious consequences for everyone.”

Jordon, who still sees itself as the “keepers” of the Temple Mount, spoke out against Israel saying, “Jordan condemns in the severest of terms the storming of the Aqsa Mosque and violating its sanctity.”

By “storming,” they mean walking around peaceably at the holiest site of Judaism.

The United Arab Emirates also “reiterated its firm position on the need to provide full protection for the Al-Aqsa Mosque and halt serious and provocative violations taking place there.”

But the most telling, and administration defining comments came from the Biden appointed ambassador to Israel’s spokesman. “Ambassador Nides has been very clear in conversations with the Israeli government on the issue of preserving the status quo in Jerusalem’s holy sites. Actions that prevent that are unacceptable.”

Right in step with that, a spokesperson for the Biden White House National Security Council read from the same cue card saying, “The United States stands firmly for preservation of the status quo with respect to the holy sites in Jerusalem. Any unilateral action that jeopardizes the status quo is unacceptable.”

So, the stance of the United States government is this: it is unacceptable for a Jew to walk on their holiest site, in the capital of their own country.

To this day, the words the Lord spoke to Abram (at the time) ring true: “I will bless them who bless you and curse him who curses you, and in you all families of the earth will be blessed,” (Gen. 12:3). The President, who claims to be a devout Catholic, must take his faith more serious than he has demonstrated up until this point.

The Lord does not make idle promises, for the good of the country and the world, Christians must pray and uplift the current administration to turn from its current ways, repent of the sins against God that is has committed and walk a path lit by biblical truth. {eoa}
