With Only Two Weeks Left, Christian Voters’ Voices Must Be Heard in California Recall Election

The California gubernational recall election is only two weeks from closing, and Americans are watching with bated breath as Californians vote on two key issues. First, they are voting on whether or not Gavin Newsom should be recalled from the office of governor. Second, if they do recall Newsom, they are voting on who should replace him.

While Newsom and Democratic leadership seem convinced he will remain in power, recent reports indicate that the race is closer than anyone could have imagined. A recent poll indicated that there is only a 4% difference between the answers to the question of whether or not Newsom should be recalled. If the vote to recall exceeds 50%, then the candidate who receives the most votes will become California’s governor until the November 2022 election.

If Newsom is recalled, then voters will have to choose between 46 candidates looking to replace him as governor, and this would be a confusing and daunting task. iVoterGuide, an online, national resource that gathers key voting information for elections across the country, provides crucial research to assist voters in choosing the candidate that best represents their values.

Debbie Wuthnow, president of iVoterGuide, says, “With so much up in the air, iVoterGuide has released research on all the candidates involved, providing voters with well-sourced facts about Gavin Newsom and the 46 candidates vying to succeed him as the Governor of California. But with so many candidates, which one will voters choose? They come from a variety of political parties, but interestingly, neither the Democrat or Republican parties have endorsed any single candidate. This leaves the voter with little guidance to make an informed decision, driving high voter demand for iVoterGuide’s candidate research and evaluations.”

The extensive research iVoterGuide compiled includes links to their websites and social media accounts, ideological donation reports given to or by the candidates, as well as any voting ratings earned for those who have previously held office. All candidates were also given the opportunity to fill out iVoterGuide’s questionnaire, which gives better understanding of their personal stances on high profile political issues. All information can be found here.

Wuthnow added, “iVoterGuide is here to help responsible voters better determine which candidate can be trusted with power to respect the inalienable rights that bind us together as a nation.” {eoa}

iVoterGuide is a one-stop resource for candidate ratings and election information. In 2020, iVoterGuide’s expert researchers gave an in-depth analysis—and overall rating—from the perspective of unchanging truth for 8,000-plus candidates in more than 3,300 races nationwide. Additionally, iVoterGuide offers election dates, registration deadlines, polling locations and other information needed to help Americans vote wisely and identify candidates on the ballot who share their values. Related tools are also available to inform family, neighbors and business associates about getting their own personalized ballots. iVoterGuide is helping to restore the principles of limited government, free enterprise and traditional American values.

iVoterGuide also created Pray for Leaders, an easy way for voters to pray by name for the officials whom they personally have the authority to elect.
