A Call to Pray in the Vision of America’s Foundation, ‘In God We Trust’

All those of biblical faith—Jews and Christians—are at a historic tipping point. We will either turn back to God and uphold the biblical values embodied in the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution, or we will reject God and abolish our very foundation.

The current political and cultural crisis prompting the choice centers around the forthcoming U.S. presidential elections. The Holy Spirit is calling us to discern past the foibles of the candidates, campaigns and media narratives into the deep ideology and values the candidates and their administrations would bring into power.

In general, the Republican candidates represent values consistent with the biblical Judeo-Christian founding embodied in the U.S. Constitution. Democrats candidates, in general, would usher in values opposed to those biblical founding values.

We must not be deceived into thinking we are casting our votes for particular candidates. The ballot represents two opposing visions of America: One is consistent with God’s plans and the other is consistent with Satan’s plans for America. The present conflict, however, is beyond the clash of political parties. America is at the epicenter of a titanic spiritual battle between the kingdom of God, which is manifested through the present American order based on biblical values, and the empire of Satan, which is being expressed through powerful demonic strongholds behind movements like #BlackLivesMatter, antifa, neo-Nazis and more. The demonic strongholds are built on the deceptions and lies of the anti-Christ ideologies of Marxism, Islam, the occult, white supremacy and other anti-God movements.

The failure of God’s design and outcome for America to prevail in this spiritual and political battle will have disastrous global consequences for the advancement of the kingdom of God and making disciples of Jesus Christ in all nations.

Jesus Christ—the commander of the Lord’s armies—is calling prayer warriors and intercessors to step into the gap to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in defeating these present demonic strongholds and to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Lord God has given intercessors and prayer warriors three powerful images of symbolic actions taken by Donald J. Trump, the 45th president of the United States.

These iconic images depict symbolic actions recently taken by the president and first lady of the United States, and they provide a physical picture of a future for which the Lord is calling us to pray—one of biblical values that counters Satan’s agenda for America.

The images focus on President Trump because, as the currently elected president, he represents the United States not just to the nations of the world, but he is also appointed by God (Rom. 13:1-7, Rev. 21:26). Part 2 will describe these photos and their significance. {eoa}
