In a statement, Sanders said she was “beyond proud to join [Fox News’] incredible stable of on-air contributors in providing political insights and analyses.”
Critics joked that Sanders, who left her job at the White House in June, is the perfect candidate for Fox News commentary.
“You’re a natural,” one person responded to Sanders’ Twitter post. “What better place for Trump’s former propaganda than Trump state TV?”
Another wrote: “You weren’t working for Fox News already when you were at the White House?”
Positive responses were few and far between, but one person wrote: “Thanks Sarah – You just made my day!! Mornings will be even Greater!!!”
