Pro-Life Prayer Vigil, Demonstration Set for Planned Parenthood Abortion Center in Nation’s Capital
A planned prayer vigil will take place on Thursday, Jan. 20, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at 1225 4th Street NE in Washington, D.C., at the Planned Parenthood Abortion Center on the eve of the March for Life.
The event is being organized by Purple Sash Revolution and Priests for Life.
As Roe v. Wade is torn down, pro-life organizations will continue to focus their attention with greater intensity on defunding and replacing Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the world.
Brandi Swindell, founder and CEO of Stanton Healthcare, states:
“As Roe v. Wade is being dismantled, the pro-life community looks forward to working state by state to ensure abortion violence comes to an end. We will also work passionately to see Planned Parenthood is defunded and replaced.
“At Stanton Healthcare, we will continue to offer women with unexpected pregnancies professional and compassionate health care as well as physical and emotional support for their family.”
Stanton Public Policy Center/Purple Sash Revolution is a women’s advocacy and educational group that works on issues of human rights and justice, which empower and inspire women. It is affiliated with Stanton Healthcare, which has life-affirming women’s health clinics in America and internationally.
Stanton Public Policy/Purple Sash Revolution will also host a public witness at the Supreme Court on Saturday, Jan. 22, from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. This is the actual anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.
The event will include a prayer vigil and working with Faith and Liberty in laying 2,363 flowers in front of the Supreme Court to honor and remember the children who die every day from abortion violence.
At 11:45 a.m., Purple Sash Revolution will be leading a news conference with national pro-life leaders discussing “How the Pro-Life Movement Will Respond in a Post-Roe America.” {eoa}
