Pro-Life Event Increases Awareness Among Young People

Every abortion kills a living human being. National Pro-Life T-Shirt Week (NPLTW), organized by American Life League, intends to increase awareness of the personhood of the child in the womb and the tragedy of abortion.

The 10th annual NPLTW begins on Tuesday and goes through Monday, April 30. The week includes events such as a photo scavenger hunt, a video challenge, an essay competition and a poster design contest. Prizes consist of national exposure of winning works, a Kindle Fire and more.

“More and more youth are returning to family tradition, responsibility and the teachings of their faith. This event gives young pro-lifers and their families a voice in their own communities,” said Paul Rondeau, executive director at American Life League.

“Planned Parenthood would have us believe that every young person is uncontrollably sexual and wants access to abortion at the drop of a hat. In fact, quite the opposite is true: America is becoming more pro-life because of these young people.”

NPLTW is primarily concerned “with getting people to think of the child as a person from the moment of his or her biological inception,” its website says. “It is much harder to murder a person than it is to ‘remove a lump of tissues,’ and it is only when we finally get the nation thinking in those terms that we will be able to restore the right to life of our preborn brothers and sisters.”

In support of the movement, you can buy an NPLTW t-shirt that reads “Pro-Life American” for $8. For more information, visit NPLTW.com.
