Megachurch Pastor, Worldwide Minister David T. Demola Dies
Megachurch pastor David T. Demola died Tuesday. He was 74.
“It is with great sorrow that we regretfully inform you of the passing of our beloved pastor and apostle David T. Demola, who went home to be with Jesus earlier today, Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018,” the church posted on Facebook.
“Pastor Demola was a true giant and champion of the Christian faith who will be sorely missed by all of us here at FFM and countless others around the world whose lives he touched throughout his 58 years of ministry. We ask that you pray for his loving wife, Pastor Diane Demola, his children and other family during this difficult time. We also ask that you pray for our FFM family as we look to God for His guidance. We will inform you of memorial and funeral arrangements as details are finalized. Thank you for your prayers and support.”
Demola founded and pastored Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center in New Jersey. Demola also founded Covenant Ministries International.
Demola first began his ministry as a teen in 1959, according to the church website, when he began ministering on the streets of Brooklyn, New York, with the group that is now known as Teen Challenge.
Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center began in Demola’s home in 1980. The church now has 10,000 members with weekly international telecasts.
He was married to Diane, and the couple had multiple children.
I am so sorry to hear this! I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit under his ministry as an Evangelist in 1968. The Lord uses certain people to effect the course of your life and ministry and he was definitely one in my life. Prayers for his family and church family.

What a huge hearted, kingdom minded servant of the Lord & now in the presence of the One he loved wholeheartedly. Ps Demola had such a huge passion to disciple nations! Our thoughts today turn to Ps Diane, their children & the Faith Fellowship church family. Love from the UK.

Shocked/numb!! @DavidTDemola was my spiritual father/roll model.can’t begin to express the impact he had on my life & the lives of my children. I believe the depth of grief/devastation we feel at losing him is = to the joy & celebration in heaven. Holding Diane & family in & https://t.co/13DGhC6s6P
