Jack Frost Dies at 54

Jack Frost, charismatic author, Bible teacher and founder of Shiloh Place Ministries, died March 5 after a battle with cancer. He was 54.

Frost was an ordained minister for the Salvation Army in Conway, S.C., from 1984 to 1986 and pastor of evangelism at Evangel Cathedral in Spartanburg, S.C., from 1989 to 1991. He was the author of two books, Experiencing the Father’s Embrace and the recent Spiritual Slavery to Spiritual Sonship, which have touched the hearts of millions throughout the world.He was also an accomplished sea captain.


A funeral service will be held March 7 at 1 p.m. at Christ Community Church, 1500 Highway 501 Business, in Conway. A graveside service will follow at Southeastern Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shiloh Place Ministries, P.O. Box 5, Conway, S.C. 29528. The Frost family and friends express thanks and gratitude to the staff of Mercy Hospice Center in Conway for their support and care.
