Congregation Claims Ousted Pastor Stole All the Church Furniture

An Alabama congregation says their ousted pastor stole all the church furniture after his resignation.

Willie Jackson, who recently resigned from his post at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in a Birmingham suburb, reportedly drove off from the church site with everything from computers to furniture, according to WVTM.

According to the report, the former pastor’s family said he only took what belonged to him, but church members disagree.

“There’s no way that he thought it was his stuff because when you came to a place, it was here when you got here. It should have been here when you left,” said Varrie Kindall, a church member and former friend of the Jacksons.

Jackson had also locked his congregation members out of the church last week when they demanded he resign for “swindling” them out of the church.

“He said, ‘What’s the difference? They’re all dumb anyway,'” Kendall said.
