Bishop Bill Hamon’s Wife Passes Away
Bishop Bill Hamon’s wife, Evelyn, has passed away.
Hamon is the founder of Christian International, a prophetic ministry in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. The Hamons were married in August 1955 and served in ministry together for over 60 years. A post on Hamon’s Facebook page reads:
“Mom Hamon went to be with Jesus this morning at 8:05. It was very peaceful. She took one last breath and went into His arms. Her vision of seeing Jesus reaching out His arms is now fulfilled in a beautiful loving embrace from her Lord. She is in heaven now rejoicing, seeing her parents and family that have gone before her.
“Our hearts are heavy and hurting but comforted by the Holy Spirit and the love and support of so many. She meant so much to so many and will be dearly missed. We are currently thinking that we will have a service for her this Saturday, and we will let you know the details as they are finalized. All expressions of love and support are so appreciated.”
Family friend Cindy Jacobs, founder of Generals International, told Charisma News, “Evelyn Hamon was one of the great women pioneers of the prophetic movement. She was steadfast in her love for God’s people and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.”
An outpouring of love followed on the Facebook page, including prayers of blessing, comfort, love and peace.
Lindsay Mills Garrison wrote: “She was an amazing example of the true Love of God!! I know He was waiting on her! We love you all and are praying for His peace and comfort!”
Evelyn is survived by her husband and three children, Tim, Tom and Sherilyn. The Hamons have many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The entire family is serving the Lord.
