Best-Selling Author Brigitte Gabriel: America’s Churches Must Lead the Way to Help People ‘Rise’ to Act
From an extremely dysfunctional Supreme Court nomination process to the anger people feel on both sides of the political spectrum, America’s church and synagogue leaders have the daunting task of helping their people see through the muck and mire to realize what is at stake as the nation’s Judeo-Christian values and freedoms are under assault.
To help sort through this very complex culture, every spiritual leader should read New York Times best-selling author Brigitte Gabriel’s new book, Rise: In Defense of Judeo-Christian Values and Freedom, which will not only give the background to why America is in dire straits, but also arms readers with real data and compelling facts that will equip them to fight the efforts of America’s enemies to undermine the nation at every level of society.
Released on Sept. 11, Rise also motivates readers to unite with other patriots who wish to preserve America’s endangered Judeo-Christian values and freedom.
As the nation recently marked the 17th anniversary of 9/11, Gabriel points to the unity that was born in the midst of tragedy.
“After 9/11, Americans were more unified than they’d been since World War II,” Gabriel said. “Flags flew on almost every porch. Patriotic bumper stickers were on every car. Signs and shirts of ‘God Bless America’ were common, and athletes and fans stood proudly for our national anthem. The pews of America’s churches and places of worship were filled on Sunday—and throughout the week, too. Prayer was undoubtedly back at many dinner tables, and people lined up to give blood and help their fellow citizens. We all felt as lucky to be Americans as we did to be alive. We held our loved ones more tightly and waved our flags more proudly.
“Political disagreements of the past,” she continued, “were suddenly meaningless. All that mattered was our American identity. We realized that what unified us was so much stronger and more important than what divided us. Unfortunately, even though that time of unity came about because of a terrible black mark on our history, it is gone. Will it ever return? America’s churches and synagogues, pastors and rabbis, may be the ones to help unite us again under one common tie that binds—our love for God and country and the Judeo-Christian foundation that unites us as one American family.”
In Rise, Gabriel sends her most hard-hitting, explosive message yet. It’s not only a warning but also a rallying cry to unite Americans of all backgrounds in a fight for the survival of the nation, the protection of the Judeo-Christian values upon which it was built and the preservation of the freedoms on which future generations depend.
Gabriel is available to speak in churches about how congregations can recapture the unity that America once enjoyed and return to the country to the Judeo-Christian values on which it was founded.
