Amid Human Trafficking Charges, Pastor Tom Randall Finds Strong Support

Ohio pastor Tom Randall faces human trafficking charges in the Philippines in connection with an orphanage he founded.

Thirty-one orphans, including seven under the age of 18, say they’ve been routinely raped at the group home since 2005, The Christian Post reported.

The victims claim that Randall knew but failed to intervene.

Pastor Joe Coffey, who works with Randall at Christ Community Chapel, said he believes Randall has done no wrong.

“Our prayer’s that truth and justice prevail,” Coffey said. “I mean we want to know what really happened. We want to know the truth. We want to know justice. I mean … there is no indication that he has done anything wrong so we just want him released.”

More than 35,000 supporters are backing Randall on his Facebook page.

Sen. Rob Portman’s, R-Ohio, office told CBN News the senator is working with the Filipino ambassador in Washington, D.C., to investigate the situation.
