These Chilling Current Events May Be Setting the Stage for Fulfillment of David Wilkerson’s ‘1,000 Fires’ Prophecy, Michael Snyder Says
When economist and end-times expert Michael Snyder looks at the world today, he sees prophecy being fulfilled. But not from what he calls “fake prophets” whose faltering words have caused prophecy to come into question in the recent past. Instead, he sees some words from years ago coming true today, including those of the later David Wilkerson. In particular, Wilkerson’s “1,000 Fires” prophecy seems to have a direct connection to current events, Snyder says.
“David Wilkerson warned us about a lot of things that were coming,” Snyder tells Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of the Greenelines podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network. “One thing that really was pointed out to me recently was [his] ‘1,000 fires’ prophecy. He said, and I quote: ‘For 10 years or so, I’ve been warning about 1,000 fires coming to New York City [that] will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. Major cities all across America will experience riots and blazing fires such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago.'”
He was referring to the Watts Riots many, many years ago,” Snyder says. And of course, this word came long before the BLM riots of 2020 which, Snyder says, were “horrible” in New York City.
Could these modern-day riots be a fulfillment of Wilkerson’s prophecy? Snyder says he thinks it’s a start.
“We saw fires, but we didn’t see 1,000 fires yet,” he says. But he says the harsh vaccine mandates imposed by New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio are bringing the prophecy into even greater light.
“It was being reported that 1/3 of the firefighters in the city were vaccinated ahead of the deadline, which was Nov. 1,” Snyder adds. “And so the deadline came, and it was being reported at the time 26 firehouses had to be shuttered, shut down because here just weren’t enough people to work them, which was quite alarming. … there was a fire, and a young boy died because the firefighters couldn’t respond quickly enough.”
This caused Snyder to look at Wilkerson’s prophecy, wondering if these events were setting the stage for its fulfillment.
“If we get to another point where massive, widespread riots erupt, more fires start to be set all over New York City and the surrounding areas, if there’s only a limited number of firefighters, they’re not going to be able to go out. They’re not going to be able to address hundreds of fires simultaneously. And so could that be part of what David Wilkerson was seeing—these mandates really setting the stage for that by [the firefighters not being] able to respond. And of course, we’re seeing similar things all over the country with these mandates.”
