How God Brought Supernatural Healing to This Remote Village

A remote village in Pakistan might seem like a strange place for a Zoom meeting. But for prophetic revivalist and healing minister Dr. Candice Smithyman, Zoom served as just one more way for her to reach people with God’s wonder-working power.

King Television, which broadcasts her Glory Road program, arranged for this unprecedented Zoom broadcast in Raiwind, Pakistan, Smithyman told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network.

She taught God’s Word as planned, using her computer in Florida to share and to watch the response of the people gathered to hear her on the other side of the globe. But what happened next was something even she didn’t anticipate.

“After about just 10 to 15 minutes of ministering the gospel, the Holy Spirit just dropped on me and said, ‘Start ministering healing,'” Smithyman said. “So we began calling out what needed to be healed, and people were being healed right there.

“We’re talking between Florida and Pakistan through a computer, and they’re watching me on the screen there,” she said. “And all I’m doing is ministering the Word. And then they’re responding. … And then we supplied Bibles for the whole group of people that were there, so that was a blessing to people.”

Smithyman knows the power of multimedia better than most. Not only does she serve as executive pastor of Freedom Destiny Church in Orange Park, Florida, but she hosts two podcasts, including Manifest His Presence; hosts the Glory Road television show on both King Television and Praise Television; and is the author of multiple books as well as Charisma e-courses such as Accessing the Glory Realm and Soul Transformation.

“I have a heart for not only the souls of people, but also for them to be healed in their soul, their mind or in their emotions as well as their physical body,” Smithyman said. “And so when we’re preaching the Word, we’re hearing people are getting healed of tumors in their body; they’re being healed of blood disorders, to getting out of wheelchairs—amazing things are happening. And so that’s the power of the Word just going out,” Smithyman said.
