With graduation season upon us, commencement speakers are lauding those who have taken the final steps in their education.

Speeches are filled with advice and woes, but one speech is particularly stirring: Oscar-winner Denzel Washington giving sound wisdom to the graduates of Dillard College.

“True desire in the heart for anything good is God’s proof to you sent beforehand to indicate that it’s yours already,” Washington says in the speech. “When you get it, reach back [and] pull someone else up. Each one, teach one. Don’t just aspire to make a living. Aspire to make a difference.”
