Mike Bickle Sends Prophetic Warning, Encouragement to God’s Faithful

If you have been confused and find yourself living in fear as the result of recent events in society and culture, IHOPKC’s Mike Bickle has an encouraging prophetic word for you from the book of Psalms. It’s God’s answer to the COVID-19 pandemic, racial unrest, political upheaval and other external factors that are sending the church into a frenzy.

“It’s the clearest prophecy for today that I’ve come across,” Bickle says. “It’s from Psalm 2, and it is broken up into four parts. The first part is about today’s rulers and kings, and it says, ‘Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against His anointed, saying, “let us tear off their bonds and cast away their ropes from us.”‘

“What this means is that the kings and rulers are shaking their fists at God. The second part tells us that God is not intimidated by anything they are saying and doing. He’s saying, ‘You can’t move me; I’m going to speak to you directly as judgment.’ The Scripture says, ‘He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord ridicules them. Then He will speak to them in His wrath and terrify them with His burning anger; I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill.’

“The third part of Psalm 2 says, ‘I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to me, “You are my Son; this day have I begotten you. Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for your possession. You will break them with a scepter of iron; you will dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”‘

“And the fourth part says, which is an admonishment to today’s rulers, ‘Now, then, you kings, be wise; be admonished, you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, tremble and trepidation! Kiss the Son, lest he become angry, and you perish in the way, for His wrath kindles in a flash. Blessed are those who seek refuge in Him.'”

The chaos, hatred and bitterness that has ascended to a new level over the past 12 to 15 months, Bickle says, are nothing like we have ever seen before in human history. And, he says, this climate has caused believers to swim upstream against the cultural current.

But, Bickle says, we haven’t seen anything like what’s headed our way in the near future.

“We’re never going to go back to the normalcy of the way things were,” Bickle says. “Listen to Isaiah 60:2-3, which says, ‘For the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the peoples; but the Lord shall rise upon you, and His glory shall be seen upon you. The nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.’

“Darkness is escalating on this earth at a rapid rate,” Bickle continues. “Many are trying to cast the Word of God out of society. They see the word of God as bondage. They want to make it a crime against the state for your children not to learn about the transgender agenda. There will be criminal penalties, sanctions and censorship, like what’s going on with MyPillow’s Mike Lindell, for example. But it’s going to go far beyond that.”

Despite all of that, Bickle says, the church, God’s holy remnant, must keep the ultimate goal in mind if we are to stand fast, stay strong and put the enemy in his place.

“Make no mistake, as it says in Psalm 2, God is sitting up in the heavens and laughing at their defiance,” Bickle says. “And that’s the encouragement we should have going forward. In the end game, the church is going to be a prepared bride globally, and there will be a harvest—the greatest harvest in human history.

“But also make no mistake that it won’t happen now because the church isn’t ready. He won’t bring that into an atmosphere of compromise. He wants his church to be completely transformed before it is able to bring millions of souls into the harvest because He doesn’t want those new souls to fall into the same compromising state. What we need to do now is to pray for the optimum environment, for the church to wake up spiritually. No more spiritual boredom or compromise. He wants us to be a vessel for His spiritual glory.” {eoa}
