Mandisa Strikes Gold With ‘Good Morning’ Digital Single
On the heels of receiving her first Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year with Overcomer (Sparrow Records/Capitol Christian Distribution), GRAMMY winner Mandisa was surprised by her record company, publisher and management backstage at a show with a plaque commemorating the RIAA Gold Certification of her digital single “Good Morning.”
Featuring a rap cameo by TobyMac, “Good Morning” has been performed on ABC’s Good Morning America and used in promos by the No. 1 morning show as well as by New York City’s local ABC affiliate, WABC. The song has been adopted by various morning radio programs as their theme song across the country as well.
A new remixed version of the song appears on Mandisa’s newly released, first full-length remix album, Get Up: The Remixes.
Mandisa is on the Thrive Tour with Casting Crowns and Sidewalk Prophets.
