Just Released ‘The Chosen’ Season Three Trailer Goes Viral on Social Media

For you “The Chosen” fans out there, the long-awaited Season Three trailer has officially been released and this season looks like it will be just as much of a tear jerker as the rest. Over 1.4 million people have watched the video, and the trailer was the No.1 trending video on YouTube when it was released on Monday.
The hit show based on the life of Jesus will hit theaters across America with episodes one and two on Nov. 18th. Creator of “The Chosen” Dallas Jenkins says the theme for this season is out of Matthew 11:28 which says, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Fans of the faith-based show have been eagerly awaiting the next season and the filmmaker says this season hasn’t been easy. “It’s taken a long time for Season Three to get here, and believe me, it wasn’t by choice. From supply chain issues affecting our construction, to COVID delays, to weather, the making of Season Three for sure made us weary and heavy-laden. We don’t get to escape the themes of each season,” Jenkins says.
Jenkins says the latest season will pick back up where Season Two left off, “With Jesus delivering the most famous sermon in history. What follows are the consequences of living out His teachings,” Jenkins says.
In one of the scenes in the trailer, Jesus is sitting with the Twelve Apostles He had selected to continue to spread the gospel message. One of the apostles said they didn’t feel any different after being selected. “I don’t need you to feel anything to do great things,” says Jonathan Roumie, the actor who portrays Jesus.
The comments section was flooded with viewers thanking Dallas Jenkins for all of their hard working bringing the show to life. One viewer says, “The Chosen series one and two have made such an impact on my life. I have never watched any religious films where I feel the Holy Spirit as ‘The Chosen.'”
