‘Dancing With the Stars’ Meets ‘Duck Dynasty’
What do you get when you cross Dancing With the Stars with Duck Dynasty? We may soon find out.
According to US Weekly, Sadie Robertson is joining the cast of the hit ABC series for its 19th season. Sadie, 17, is the granddaughter of family patriarch Phil Robertson. Her father is Willie Robertson.
US Weekly does not name its source but notes that next season’s lineup also includes Janel Parrish, Lolo Jones and Antonio Sabato Jr.
“I think that our kids are really natural in front of the camera and they have fun with it,” Sadie’s mom, Korie Robertson, told US Weekly in May when asked if she thinks her kids will continue working in the entertainment industry. “Sadie, I think, wants to maybe be on a talk show, and she wants to be on Dancing With the Stars!”
Good Morning America will roll out the full list of Dancing with the Stars next cast on Sept. 4.
