California State University to Pay Faculty $1,200 to Learn to Eradicate ‘Whiteness’
A Fox News report claims that California State University East Bay is offering faculty $1,200 stipends for attending a course that seeks to understand how whiteness can be “eradicated.”
The course, Anti-Racist Liberatory Pedagogy Academy, notes one of the university’s intended outcomes for participants is “Enhanced knowledge and understanding of Critical Race Theory to provide a framework for and to inform their anti-racism pedagogy.” The course introduction quotes Assata Shakur, the former Black Liberation Army member convicted of murdering New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster in 1973.
In Hope for This Present Crisis, bestselling author Dr. Michael Youssef explains that critical race theory fosters the belief that all elements of a free society are oppressive and must be dismantled. Critical race theory justifies rioting, looting, disrespecting and defunding police, and ultimately hating America and all it stands for.
Youssef points out that higher education institutions are the obvious choice to indoctrinate generations of radicals into critical race theory. “They portray everyone who opposes their agenda as racist, sexist, misogynist or homophobic. Their targets are people who believe in logic and reason, democracy, traditional American values, Western civilization and the Judeo-Christian faith tradition.” Youssef warns, “[Critical race theory] uses fear to reinforce a narrative that everyone must buy into. Truth is slain on the altar of the delusional narrative. Anyone who contradicts this narrative will be canceled and publicly shamed as a racist.”
The school offers $600 upon completion of the summer sessions and another $600 for completion of post-academy fall and spring semester sessions, touting the course as a “race-conscious framework that examines the ways whiteness is normalized in our country and in our University.”
