7 Steps to Support the Rainbow

In the middle of pride month where overt sin is celebrated by large corporations, government and influencers, Rabbi Kirt A. Schneider is pushing forward in his movement to take back the rainbow for the kingdom of God.

Schneider’s movement, TakingtheRainbowBack.com, is meant to align God’s people to say that we have had enough of the mockery against God’s rainbow, and it belongs to Him.

“I want to say this is the scariest thing that I’ve ever done as a messenger of God in my entire life,” Schneider said in a YouTube video. “But I’ve got to say, my friends, enough is enough. I know that I’m going to get a lot of controversial feedback from this, I already have just announcing that I was going to do this, but enough is enough, and there has not been a consolidated movement within the body of Christ to stand up and oppose unrighteousness as it relates to the LGBT agenda and the hijacking of the rainbow, the sacred symbol of the rainbow.”

Taking the Rainbow Back is based on two key Bible verses: one from Genesis and one from Revelation, the beginning and the end.

“I have set my rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth,” (Gen. 9:13).

“And He who sat there appeared like a jasper and a sardius stone. There was a rainbow around the throne, appearing like an emerald,” (Rev. 4:3).

These two Bible verses show that the rainbow was implemented by God as a sign of everlasting love and mercy between Himself and His people, that He would never again flood the world the way He did in Noah’s day. God created and designed the rainbow to be a promise of who He is to us here—merciful and self-sacrificing, but also of who He is in the age still to come. It is a reflection of His eternal perfection that the saints one day will witness.

“God made the rainbow,” Schneider said in a YouTube video. “And it’s a manifestation of His glory and beauty.”

Schneider’s movement has seven simple steps for Christians to take.

  • Join the movement to receive encouraging messages from Rabbi Schneider
  • Order and wear your Taking the Rainbow Back shirt
  • Join the inaugural weekend of July 28th to July 30th to wear your shirt out in public and share
  • Stay updated on events and content from Schneider
  • Share the movement with others using #takingtherainbowback
  • Watch Schneider’s foundational video on why God created the rainbow
  • Pray!

Beyond the simple steps to make the statement that the rainbow belongs to God, Schneider sees this as both an evangelistic opportunity and a necessary step toward the light in the middle of a dark world.

“We are in the end times; we have entered in to the headwinds darkness,” Schneider said. “And this thing is just gonna get worse, it’s gonna become more violent, it’s gonna become deeper, more sinister, but what I’m trying to do is unify the Body of Christ to come together to stand up against unrighteousness. I don’t believe we can change America, but I believe we can save some.”
