‘Noah’ Film Adaptation Brings Bible to Life on TBN
TBN has secured the rights to a live production of Sight & Sound Theatres’ Noah to be aired in movie format on TBN on Friday, Jan. 29, 2021 at 8 p.m. Eastern.
“Sight & Sound Theatres’ dramatic adaptation of the Noah’s ark Bible story is truly remarkable,” Matt Crouch, chairman of TBN, said in a news release. “We’re honored to share this entertaining—and life-changing—program with our television viewers.”
The production will also be available to stream on the TBN app Jan. 29-31.
Originally performed in 2013 in Branson, Missouri, and Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Noah was a smash hit with its audience. And the production adds to the legacy of Bible-based theatrical productions Sight & Sound Theatre has endeavored to produce since its conception in 1964.
And truly, the website puts it best:
“What began with a dairy farmer, his wife, a few slide projectors, a passion for creativity and a desire to serve God, grew into the Sight & Sound Theatres we know today—the nation’s largest organization of its kind, and one of the top three theater destinations in the country. “
Watch this clip from the 2013 performance of Noah, and be sure to tune into TBN on Jan. 29, 8 p.m. Eastern to catch the full production.
