Souvenir From Bethlehem? Israel Museum Discovers Nativity Artifact

The archeology wing of the Israel Museum is home to a new artifact that is believed to be from one of the first nativity scenes ever created, dating back to around the sixth or seventh century.

This “souvenir” found in the large collection donated to the museum depicts baby Jesus and a donkey, causing museum curators to believe it was from the “church of the nativity.”
