Violent Anti-Trump Protestors Mar DC’s ‘Million-MAGA March’
Yesterday’s “Million-MAGA March” in Washington, D.C., descended into violence yesterday after anti-Trump protestors showed up, Fox News reports. The march was intended as a show of support for President Donald Trump and his continuing push for the integrity of the election process and against voter fraud.
The anti-Trump activists, whose signs and banners carried antifa and Black Lives Matter slogans, allegedly hurled eggs at the Trump supporters and also stole their signs, hats and banners, lighting them on fire. Videos show them sucker-punching people, shouting at families and harassing an elderly woman carrying a Trump flag, per Fox News. Multiple flag burnings took place as well, reports USA9.
Outside the Supreme Court building, where the march concluded, a group of antifa supporters waited behind a hot-pink banner that read, “Punch MAGA in the Face,” the New York Post reports.
After Lentz Dismissal, Hillsong’s Founding Pastor Places NYC Branch Under Investigation
Brian Houston, founding pastor of the Sydney-based megachurch Hillsong, announced Thursday it is launching an independent investigation into its New York City branch following the firing of Pastor Carl Lentz.
Lentz, 41, was dismissed by Houston after it was revealed he had engaged in a months-long sexual affair with a woman known only as Ranin.
“We are launching an independent investigation into the inner workings of Hillsong NYC/East Coast,” Houston announced via Twitter. “We need a solid foundation for a fresh start and new beginning. The best is yet to come.”
Election Outcome: Dr. James Dobson, Franklin Graham Call the Faithful to Prayer
Dr. James Dobson and Franklin Graham, strong supporters of President Donald J. Trump, are leading the prayer movement of believers representing the nearly 72 million who voted for the president. Last week’s election garnered the largest Republican vote in history as well as the largest Latino and Black totals ever to continue to support the president, shown forth as each state tallies votes for the legal certification of the election, due on Dec. 14.
Dr. James Dobson gave an encouraging word to believers via his ministry’s Facebook page: “At this time, President Trump is contesting the noncertified election results in several states that could make a difference in the election outcome. He has stated that he will be presenting his case to the Supreme Court to ensure the integrity of our election process is not compromised. Please pray for the president, the United States Supreme Court and all of our nation’s leaders as we attempt to bring clarify and certainty to the results of this historic election.”
Franklin Graham reiterated Dr. Dobson’s encouragement with a Veterans Day Facebook post that included the words: “It seems our nation is under attack—attack from within, from socialists who want to bring anarchy to our streets. The hard-won freedoms that we have enjoyed in America are very much at stake. Pray for the President, our Commander-in-Chief, as he leads the nation during these turbulent times, that God would give him wisdom, grace, and understanding for times such as these.” {eoa}
