All Hands on Deck: Travel to Prayer Vigils, Join at Home
The White House Prayer Team, which has been mobilizing daily prayer for the White House since July of 2016, is beginning a 24-hour prayer vigil in front of the White House at Lafayette Park to engage in onsite spiritual warfare to protect the president’s overwhelming victory.
Those able to stand an hour or more are asked to come to Farragut West Station on the Washington Metro and proceed seven minutes to Lafayette Park, directly in front of the White House. The team is gathering there in a large area, free of traffic, to engage in spiritual warfare until the president is formally installed in honor of his election victory.
One of the organizers commented, “This is the battle for our lives. This is the battle for our future. The president has laid it all on the line for us. It is time for us to lay it all on the line for him, for the future and for the Lord Jesus Christ. If antifa and all the anti-Christian organizations can mobilize hundreds of thousands to burn our cities, we can mobilize to pray.”
In addition to the White House, the prayer team is calling people to gather for urgent prayer vigils in front of their respective state capitols until the president is formally installed. If travel is not an option, pray at home, in the car, while cooking dinner, taking a walk. Just pray.
Bestselling author of God, Trump and COVID-19 Stephen Strang said, “Donald Trump can’t win without our help. Each of us must do our part. God demands no less,” echoing Amos 5:24: “But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.”
