Why All Are Accountable When It Comes to Knowing Jesus
What will happen to the man who lives in the remotest part of the jungle? Will he be accountable for not knowing about Jesus? The answer to that question is yes.
Romans Chapter 1 tells us that God is evident in creation and that God holds man accountable because of it. Look at the human body, the animal kingdom, plant life, the birth of a baby or the universe. God’s design is everywhere. That points to a designer. If the man in the jungle looks to the heavens and cries out in humility, “I want to know God,” then God will find a way to reveal Jesus Christ to him.
The Bible also says that God gives man a conscience to know right from wrong. Our conscience also tells us there is a God, and we need a savior. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says eternity is written on man’s heart. Man knows that he will live forever, and that he needs to be forgiven of his sin.
God has given man the Bible. He tells us how to stay out of hell and how to get to heaven. Man just needs to read it. There are Bibles everywhere so that man can get hold of one.
There are also missionaries, television, the internet and people who travel the world sharing about Jesus. God will send a missionary to the person in Africa, or wherever they may live. It doesn’t matter where on the earth they are.
And then Job 33 says God gives man dreams and visions to keep back his soul from the pit. All through the Bible, it says God is fair and just. No one will be in hell unjustly because we serve a God who is fair and just. {eoa}
