2 Dead, 2 Injured in Shooting Outside Church in West Palm Beach Church

A 15-year-old boy and an adult male were killed at the scene and two others were injured during a shooting outside Victory City Church in Riviera Beach, Florida, Saturday afternoon following a funeral, the result of what media reports say was an “altercation between family members.”


The injured, one female and a juvenile, were taken to a local hospital, and the extent of their injuries is unknown.

WPBF-TV reported that Riviera Beach Police spokeswoman AJ Walker said gunfire erupted at about 2:34 p.m. outside the church at 163 W. 20th St. First responders arrived to find four people shot. WPBF-TV also reported that a nearby gunfire detecting device recorded 13 rounds and that police have not made any arrests.

Police were still on the scene shortly after 7 p.m. investigating the shooting.
