Trump Signs Historic Legislation Against Anti-Semitism

President Donald Trump, seeking to halt anti-Semitic discrimination in America, signed a historic executive order on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 2:45 p.m. in the Oval Office.

“This is the first time any U.S. president has applied Title Six as a matter of law dealing with anti-Semitism,” observed Mike Evans, who has dedicated his life to fighting anti-Semitism and who leads 68 million pro-Israel evangelicals. Evans, who attended the signing, said, “I am so thankful it prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color and national origin in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance.”

The executive order takes the 1964 Civil Rights Act and applies it to anti-Semitic discrimination. Both the Department of Justice and the Department of Education will hereinafter be responsible for the implementation of all anti-Semitic laws. This Bill dispenses with SA52 and the prior Anti-Semitism Act.

Evans explained that U.S. universities have become a hotbed of anti-Semitism which has been growing exponentially. “The Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement against Israel is supported on most campuses. Colleges and universities should be places of learning and open dialogue, providing safety for Jewish students who all too often feel threatened.”

This legislation will mean that if anti-Semitic acts are committed on a university campus, federal funding for that institution could be lost. Billions of dollars have been poured into U.S. universities by Islamists with anti-Israel agendas that only serve to fund and fuel anti-Semitism. Thanks to President Trump, the campus BDS movement has just been busted!

Evans is appealing to all members of Congress to take the baton the president has extended and pass this executive order into law so that it can never be reversed. The president’s leadership is undeniable, and Evans also gives Jared Kushner credit. “Under President Trump’s leadership on this issue, Jared drove the internal process for months to achieve this astonishing feat,” said Evans. “We owe them both a great debt of gratitude.” {eoa}

Mike Evans is a No. 1 New York Times’ bestselling author with 99 published books. He is the founder of Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem of which the late President Shimon Peres, Israel’s ninth president, was the chair. He also serves on the Trump Evangelical Faith Initiative.
