Four people were killed and another six people injured in a shooting during a backyard football watch party in Fresno, California, on Sunday.

Police responded to a 911 call at around 8 p.m., according to CBS San Francisco.

Around 45 people attended the party, including women and children. Police say none of the children were hurt in the shooting.

The suspect, according to ABC, entered the party host’s backyard and opened fire on the 10 people there. The 35 people inside were not harmed.

“Thank God that no kids were hurt, because there were several kids and females at the party. Right now all 10 of the victims, deceased or not, were Asian males between that 25 to 30 range,” Deputy Chief Michael Reed said, according to FOX11.

Police have closed nearby roads as they continue their search for the suspect.

California State Senator Andreas Borgeas called the shooting a “disturbing and senseless act of violence”:
