Katherine Ruonala Shares the Revolutionary Healing Power of Words
Katherine Rounala spoke about the healing, life-and-death power of words Saturday afternoon at the Charisma Conference 2018.
“Whatever you study about the life of Jesus throughout the gospels… you find that everyone who came to him was healed,” Ruonala said. “He never once said to someone who came to him looking for healing, ‘Oh well you know I have a purpose in your sickness.’ He never said, ‘It’s good for you to remain sick for a while. You won’t understand but … you’re going to encourage others through the way you suffer.'”
Ruonala said Jesus is the hope for the impossible, and nothing is impossible for Christ. She said it is God’s will for Christians to lay hands on the sick and heal people.
“I believe the Father is longing for this generation to be the generation where it’s normal for all to be healed,” she said.
She told many stories of healing during her message, saying she’s seen many miracles.
“The God who created the world with His words has created us in His image with the same anointing and power to creatively speak and cause our world to be framed by the words He puts in our mouths,” Ruonala said. “…This same God is wanting us to begin to make decrees calling those things that be not as though they are. Instead of grumbling and complaining, God wants us to start decreeing and declaring with power because the Holy Spirit wants us to get agreement in heaven so we can speak life and spread his power on the earth.”
