How This ‘Voice’ Contestant Is Using His New Video to Advance God’s Kingdom

Missionary kid and Oral Roberts alumnus Brian Nhira used his platform on The Voice to impact the kingdom of God.

A year after the competition, Nhira’s back at it with a hit new music video, “Will You Still Love Me?”

“The whole idea of this song was inspired by the Holy Spirit. The impact that the song and video have made thus far is not something that we could have done in our own strength. We are grateful to God for using ‘Would You Still Love Me?’ to inspire and challenge people,” Nhira tells Charisma News.

“Through the process of writing this song and producing the video, God opened my eyes to the importance of unconditional love. True love isn’t proved in the times when everything is going well, it’s proved in the times when the tough circumstances of life hit us. During the process of writing the song, the Lord said, ‘The true test of love is tragedy,’ and kept reminding about the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross. It was unconditional love that motivated Jesus to die for us,” Nhira says.

His video has more than 2 million views on YouTube.

“My main vision in life is to serve my generation and see them come to know Jesus. Music is currently the main medium that I am using to do that. In my future I see it expanding to many other media such as film, speaking, humanitarian efforts and philanthropic works,” Nhira says.
