Fantasia Barrino of American Idol fame turns her concerts into a worship services at the end of each performance.

The R&B star dropped to her knees and lifted her hands to praise Jesus while singing “Abba” by David and Melissa Helser.

“This is my ministry. Thank you, Jonathan David and Melissa Helser, for creating this beautiful song ‘Abba’ and allowing the Lord to use you. We end our shows in worship. #TheDefinitionOfTour” Barrino posted on Facebook.

Some reports indicate 10 people were saved at one of the shows.

“Mine was 1 outta 10,” one person posted to Facebook.

Some people criticized Barrino’s tactics, calling out her attire (a bodysuit with fringe) as unsuitable for a church performance. Fans, though, rushed to the star’s defense.

“Fantasia has always been a gem for me, I know for a fact she is highly blessed and called to minister, just getting ready the full anointing to hit her, oh don’t worry about what she is wearing, enjoy her anointing and Let God do the rest…” one fan posted.

Another writes: “It shouldn’t matter what she has on … Because that right there was something powerful people kill me sometimes.”

And another: “Man, This girl has ALWAYS BEEN FILLED with the SPIRIT of CHRIST and for those that couldn’t resonate, they should check their own relationship and spiritual connection and awareness! She is Not YOUR Mold of Christianity! Every vessel, do your own part and be used in your own way!”
