Billy Graham Urges Americans to ‘Vote Biblical Values’
After meeting with Gov. Romney last week—and assuring him he would do whatever he could to help the presidential candidate in the weeks leading up to Election Day—Billy Graham is urging Americans to vote biblical values on Nov. 6.
“The legacy we leave behind for our children, grandchildren and this great nation is crucial,” Graham said. “As I approach my 94th birthday, I realize this election could be my last.”
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has prepared several ads in PDF format that Americans can download and display. The poster ads, which come in various sizes, feature a black and white image of Graham holding a Bible. The poster also includes Graham’s statement urging Christians to vote according to biblical values.
“I believe it is vitally important that we cast our ballots for candidates who base their decisions on biblical principles and support the nation of Israel,” Graham said. “I urge you to vote for those who protect the sanctity of life and support the biblical definition of marriage between a man and a woman. Vote for biblical values this Nov. 6, and pray with me that America will remain one nation under God.”
