Report: Here Are Some of the People Being Considered for the Trump White House
Between now and Inauguration Day, Donald Trump has a lot of appointments to make—thousands of them, in fact.
So no one was particularly surprised when he offered up this little nugget on his Twitter feed Friday morning:
Busy day planned in New York. Will soon be making some very important decisions on the people who will be running our government!
But now the Daily Caller News Foundation reports it has obtained an exclusive “short list” of key aides to the president-elect. It shared that list with its readers Friday, stating that many of those on it would be well-known to conservatives.
The report states:
The list was provided by a member of the transition team on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak to the press. Described as a “working” document, it is being used to help the president-elect envision a White House staff structure, the source said. Some people are listed more than once.
It includes names like Trump campaign chairman Stephen K. Bannon, RNC chairman Reince Priebus, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway, former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn.
The list suggests Washington, D.C., insiders and outsiders are equally being considered for the Trump White House. While it remains to be seen if the president-elect will ever truly be accepted by the GOP and D.C. establishment, this provides evidence that he is trying to find the people best suited to advance his agenda.
