Chick-fil-A Breaks World Sales Record After Hateful Attacks
What the enemy meant for harm, God turned around for good.
The gay agenda sought to besmirch Chick-fil-A’s business after president and chief operating officer, Dan Cathy, made his beliefs about traditional marriage known to the radio listening world. The company has been maligned, protested and otherwise attacked.
But God used fellow Christians—and others who believe in the biblical definition of marriage—to bless the chicken chain above and beyond anything it expected.
Customers lined up, some patiently waiting for hours, to show their support for the restaurant on what former Gov. Mike Huckabee declared “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” on Wednesday.
Pastor Rick Warren got on Twitter to let traditional marriage supporters know that Cathy called him to tell him Chick-fil-A set a world record Wednesday. “@DanCathy just called me. #ChickfilA has already set a world record today, with 7 more hours to go in the West. #outofchicken,” the Saddleback Church pastor tweeted Wednesday night.
“It’s gone beyond anything I could have imagined,” Huckabee told Fox News. “Every one of (the stores) that I know have reported record, historic sales yesterday. … A lot of the stores ran out of chicken before the end of the day.”
