Charismatic Leaders Unite to Pray for Great Awakening
Charismatic leaders from across the country, as well as spiritual leaders from various denominational backgrounds, are uniting to turn America back to God as our hope and source.
Robert Morris, Samuel Rodriguez, Kenneth Copeland, John Hagee, Jim Garlow, Bishop Harry Jackson, Tony Evans, David Jeremiah, Robert Sirico, Chris Hodges, David Barton, and others will meet at High Point Church in Arlington, Texas on July 27 for the Under God: Indivisible conference.
“There is no grand strategy to correct our nation’s present perilous course,” says conference co-host James Robison, president of LIFE Outreach International and co-author of Indivisible: Restoring Faith, Family and Freedom Before It’s Too Late. “Our hope is not in an election, as important as it is. We need spiritual direction, wisdom and guidance.”
As Robison sees it, it is time for believers to come together in supernatural unity and action, making “God’s kingdom impact and imprint on our nation and the world.” Standing united, the group will encourage and pray for the next Great Awakening.
“Every significant turning point in our nation’s history—from the birth of this republic to the abolition of slavery to the Civil Rights Movement—was preceded by a great spiritual awakening, when people of faith joined together in prayer and purpose,” Robison says. “In spite of their differences, they found common ground to address common concerns. We must do that today.”
