Cultural Commentator and Author Larry Tomczak Endorses Ted Cruz for President
On the wall in my study is an autographed photo from Ronald Reagan. Along with George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, William Wilberforce, Margaret Thatcher, Dietrich Bonhoeffer and and Martin Luther King Jr., he’s part of my “Political Heroes Hall of Fame.”
In a persons lifetime, it is rare to encounter an individual of character, consistency and competence like these courageous leaders. When one does, it behooves us to honor the man or woman with our prayers and support. I am convinced that, in answer to our prayers, one such person has “come into the kingdom for such a time as this.”
As an avid student of history, Christian activist, Public Policy Advisor at Liberty Counsel and 40-year board member of Intercessors for America, I speak personally today in recognizing this individual and endorsing him for president of the United States. His name—Senator Ted Cruz.
Taught the Scriptures from the age of four by his ministerial father then “born-again” as a Christian at eight, Ted’s career has modeled consistent, principled, conservative leadership. He’s brilliant, excellently trained, experienced, articulate, uncompromising, called, knowledgeable and, I’m convinced, better prepared than any of the other worthy candidates to be our Commander-in-chief in this critical time of history.
I encourage everyone to carefully study his resume and review his website for his sterling qualifications as an Hispanic, son of an immigrant and United States Senator. His passion is to fulfill his God-given destiny and America’s as “One Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
God hasn’t given up on America but tragically much of America has given up on God. It is time to coalesce around a leader receiving endorsements from senior leaders nationwide who recognize this may be our last chance. Discerning citizens are increasingly discovering that God has given us a lifeline and incredible gift in Ted Cruz.
