WATCH: Scott Walker Knows Exactly When He Would Revoke the Iran Deal

Scott Walker has come out swinging at onetime front runner Jeb Bush on an issue once considered a Bush strength: Terrorism.

In a new ad, Walker says he would rescind the Iran nuclear deal—which President Obama reached with Tehran and recently gathered sufficient support to enact despite overwhelming opposition—on day one of his administration.

“I refuse to live with a deal that threatens our safety and that of our closest allies,” the Wisconsin governor says. “See, unlike others, I don’t need months or years to mull this over. If Congress fails to stop the nuclear deal, I will terminate it on day one.”

He contrasts that with video footage of Jeb saying he will “certainly look” at revoking the deal—which frees up billions of dollars for Tehran to fund terrorism. But he said he would never promise to stop abiding by its terms on day one.

“American leadership is back, and together with our allies, we will not surrender another inch of ground. America will not be intimidated, and neither will I,” Walker says.

Sen. Ted Cruz and Gov. Mike Huckabee, among others, have said they, too, would rescind the deal forthwith.
